TUMBLER RIDGE TRIP SUMMER 2010

During late July and early August Nataliya and I travelled up to Tumbler Ridge. I had shows at Grizfest. It was a great trip. On the way there and on the way back we stopped at 11 lakes to fish. Zowee! The best was at Quesnal Lake where we spent three nights beside one of the deepest lakes in the world, over one kilimeter deep in some sections. Here we caught the biggest fish we have ever caught. Enjoy the pics:

Saying goodbye to Oksana

Whaloper Lake:

Goose Lake - See the man fishing with his dog in the boat!

Carp Lake - 22 kilometers off the highway north of Prince George. I won't show you the pics of me swimming naked!

Rainbow Lake - A small lake close to Carp Lake (No swimming here) Nataliya is catching bugs and using them for bait.

Moose Lake - A few kilometers from Tumbler Ridge. Beautiful place!

Tudyah Lake - Stopped shortly on the way back.

QUESNAL LAKE - Stayed at Elysia Resort for three nights. Rented a boat on Nataliya's Birthday and had one of the best fishing days ever! Caught our biggest fish.

Special rules at Quesnal Lake. Not allowed to catch Rainbow Trout over 50 centimeters. Had to let this on go. The pic on the right is me trying to feed the eagle our smallest fish.

Lac des Roches (on the way home)

Oyama Lake with Sarah and Bryce.

Elkhart Lake - Our last fishig stop before getting home. Sad to see how the pine beetle has devasted the forest here.
